I discovered this piece on Facebook actually while I was half awake and set it as my desktop wall paper, it wasn't till today when I stopped being lazy and checked my messages and saw your "Young Fluttershy" piece that I was like "Oh Lawdy that means......." and sure enough I found it here.
The reason I love this piece so much is because of your color play, the subdued and mixed blues and greens look amazing in the background with Chrysalis's colors.
But what really got me was her face
Also her "Appearance" with the Hair clip and braces, puts me in mind for some-reason of someone who was stood up for a prom or something
she really needs a hug...............
All in all a great piece, colors, composition, everything and it makes a great wallpaper on an 18 inch screen ^^
SO let's get started, I'm french so my english may can suck sometimes please escuse me for this and enjoy the critique i'll try to be the more comprensive as possible
Vision: this is just beautiful (dont find any word better than that) the colour and effect of light reflect are very good it really seem like I'm in front of her just next to a pool is the kind of reflect of the water on a person in a summer day. her expression make me both sad both kind it's like she's calling for help but she dont want to say it as she is a princess/queen who should act as an strenghtful emperor. The background is simple but super effective - *my eyes fainted of her beauty"
Originality: 2 things
-Braces make her look so CUTE as a young filly
-accessory it's like a "Dragonfly" (wtf is that word dont really make sense in French) THIS IS (to my mind) one of the MOST BEST pony's accessory i've ever seen, and so the hair cut is really good too
Technique: I'm not really sure what to writhe in this section i've just take a look at your speedpaint of Cadence i think you use the same way and Wow ... (Personal note: can i send you a note with question of colouring inside ?)
Impact: her facial expression o my gosh if only i can cross over my screen to hug her ... the impact on me is very EFFECTIVE i feel so many emotion that i cant explain it in english (deal with it
Conclusion: alright so i've compared all your chrysalis work and THIS ONE is my #1 fav if i could fav it 100 time i'll do it honestly this is just perfect.
