Gah my heart is in absolute pain, this is just too adorable for words. Chrysalis is one of my favorite characters in MLP:FiM and seeing her this cute just makes me want to give her a huge spaz hug

I always love pony artists because I believe they make the best eyes and I ALWAYS have to comment how large and expressive they really are, because eyes in any picture add a lot to the overall mood and the mood of this picture is painfully adorable which I think the eyes definitely do it justice. Everything seems to be shaded properly, her hair is shiny and a bit messy (making her just that much cuter in my opinion) just like in the show. The single visible fang holding the heart is a very lovely addition. She is proportionate (I'm impressed because the horn even seems near perfectly proportionate which I know for Chrysalis's horn is hard to do). And her adorable crown is well... adorable.

I only see a couple of very minor things to Critique, the picture is drawn so well it was VERY difficult to find anything. However, on her eyes there is a square highlight that is clearly visible, and perhaps it is too clear. I think the square highlights are to show that she is looking off into the horizon, however I am not certain; it's just tht uncertainty I have makes them distracting from the rest of her eyes. Perhaps make them not so bold of highlights or get rid of the square highlight entirely. Also the holes to the right of her wing seem to having something blue behind them, but we can't really see what that is, is it her body? Her other wing? It's just a bit difficult to tell, adding something to clarify that would add more to the picture I think

Well, basically to sum this up, the heart Chrysalis is holding in this picture might as well be mine, because she has stolen it from me and I don't care if she gives it back
