I think you captured the rain running down her hair perfectly the rain is perfectly balanced it's not to heavy and not to light. The darker colours go well with Fleur's brighter colours it really suits Fleur.I also love the expression on her face and the detail on her horn is fantastic, her cutie mark is clear. I love darker strokes in her mane and I noticed how some strands of mane are a bit lose it adds a nice effect to her mane and the ears have great detail too. This is an absolutely marvelous Piece of art: Yours Sincerly Zecorathegreat
It's not everyday that I see an image that inspires me to tell a story about it, and when I saw this one in May of last year I knew I had to tell one. The image, with all its effects, from the reflections to the shading to the scene itself. does an excellent job of evoking a sense of sadness and sorrow for Fleur while at the same time showing her beauty and making the viewer ask "what happened? Why is she out in the rain without a coat?" From this spawned a story idea for me. Those moments are rare and wonderful, I admit.
Honestly, Fleur is an underappreciated mare in my opinion, and it's always nice to see excellent fanart of her.
Who else thinks Fleur is Celestia in disguise? Anyway, a beautiful effect on the rain on her coat, splashing on her horn, and magnificent shadow effects... But,sadly,I have an artist's eye, and I see the way the water reflects her... It looks odd, not like real water would, reflecting someone. Sure, it would look disoriented, and I know you probably weren't aiming for real-life effects, but I only see her colors on the water.. of course, it may be the way you positioned her and the portrait, or it may just be me, but anyway, this is magnificent.
