Hi, I'm back again and I know, my third critique for you but your pictures just always give me so much to say and I hope you don't mind me. So anyway, this is another outstanding piece of work from you. I've always LOVED the sisterly relationship between Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo and I've always compared them to Sonic and Tails From the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. ( Yes, I am a HUGE Sonic fan, oh, and I love Sonic 06!...... No joke. ) Sorry. Anyway, I find that they're brotherly relationship is pretty much identical to Rainbow and Scoots. A young child finding a hero who they then idolise and start to become close to, always being with them and being helped and mentored by them. Not to mention that Rainbow Dash is ALOT like Sonic and Scootaloo is alot like Tails. So I utterly adore this beautifully crafted, heart warming scene of sisterly love and compassion. And while lots of other people have used this same idea for pictures, I'm basing the originality more on the pose, rather than the full idea. Pease continue to perform these acts of miraculous artistry, cause we all know you are one of the Gods of art.
Oh, right, I already favorited this one ^^ I don't remember if I commented, but this is one of my favorites from you for sure, Sleepless in Ponyville was such a powerful episode for me... It was very emotional. This artwork is a great tribute to the episode, and even a continuation in some way, with Scootaloo's tears... ^.^
This picture is absolutely gorgeous, would you mind if i used it for a song? soundcloud.com/jason-creer/fir… i think it would fit it really well and i'll of course credit you in both the video and the description
Oh, that reminds me of me and my siblings playing as kids... doing the flying thing... holding the kid up with your hands and feet while lying on your back... only this takes it a to a whole other level (literally). This is just so... she should totally to it.
It's so beautiful. I feel like crying, but that might be because of my headcanon (Headcanon: Dash pretty much takes care of Scoots. She knows that Scootaloo wants so badly to fly, and helps her.) But yes, this is very touching
Scootaloo's hair is my favorite part of this piece: you really get the sense of motion. Dashie's mane does that too (I unconsciously call her Dashie when she's really cute). What could have been done better? Perhaps the backdrop could be extended far out to the right and downwards, to bring home the fact that Scootaloo is in wonder of her surroundings. But that would be a different piece of art, and would lose some of the personal connection between Dashie and Scoots. It's all good
Dream big, then go big. Have fun while doing it, Light it up like a rainbow, then whip it out like a tornado. Give it your all and then some, and bang it out like a drum. Don't measure your life like a ruler, just make it 20 percent cooler.
